Modular Construction & Prefabrication for Mining – Oct 21, 2013
On October 21st and 22nd, Daintry Springer, President of BlackSharp & Company moderated the only conference dedicated to modular construction in the mining industry.
During this 2-day conference participants heard from many industry experts including RioTinto and Xstrata Nickel. Real case studies and presentations from the energy industry were presented.

Modular construction is currently under-used in this industry yet it stands to be a real game changer. It will help new mines, legacy mines, and mines in remote locations looking to offset costs and increase efficiencies. This one-of-a-kind conference presented the latest perspectives on these issues.
